Like many of you listening to music is something of a hobby. My musical tastes are all over the map, from country to rap to indie to rock. I'll listen to pretty much anything, looking for music that matches my mood.

Several years ago a friend and I started listing our favorite albums and songs of the year, and I've collected them here with the hope that you might discover something new, something interesting to add to your playlists.
